Ich bin Laura Volmer, freiberufliche Illustratorin und Graffikerin. Ich bin im Litauen geboren und aufgewachsen. Dort habe ich die Nationale M.K. Ciurlionis Kunstschule absolviert. Ich konnte zusätzlich auch schon Erfahrung bei der Restaurierung von Malerein sammeln. Als junge Erwachsene bin ich nach Berlin gekommen, wo ich bis jetzt lebe mit meiner kleinen Familie. Hier habe ich mich selbstständig Künstlerich weiterentwikelt. Meine Kinder sowie die Natur, Tiere, Pflanzen und der Wald in dem ich lebe sind Inspiration für meine Kunst. Mich faszinieren auch Volksmärchen, Mythen, Legend und Fantasiegeschichten alle Art, deshalb finden Sie in meinen Illustrationen nicht nur Natur, Menschen und Tiere, sondern auch so viele fantastische Wesen.

   I'm Laura Volmer, freelance illustrator and graphic artist. I was born and raised in Lithuania. There I graduated from the National M.K. Ciurlioni's art school. Throughout my Time in Lithuania I was also able to gain experience in the restoration of paintings. As a young adult I came to Berlin, where I still live with my small family. Here I developed myself independently as an artist. My children, as well as nature, animals, plants and the forest where I live, are the everyday inspiration for my art. I am also fascinated by folk tales, myths, legends and fantasy stories of all kinds, that is why you will not only find nature, people and animals in my illustrations, but also so many fantastic creatures. I look forward to new projects!
